Navarro was originally founded in 1940 in Havana, Cuba by José Navarro. In the early 1960s Navarro established its first Florida store on South West 8th Street and 13th Avenue in Miami´s Little Havana sector, and has been serving the community ever since ­ that´s over fifty years of service excellence and great prices!

Through the years Navarro became a trusted brand in the South Florida market and grew to become the largest Hispanic-owned drugstore chain in the United States.

In September 2014, Navarro was acquired by CVS Health, further solidifying its strength and commitment to continue being a trusted retail health care partner for the South Florida community.
