Coupons are given by the  manufacturers of consumer packaged goods or by retailers, to be used in retail stores as a part of sales promotions. They are commonly distributed via  mail, coupon envelopes, magazines, newspapers or the Internet (social media, email newsletter,websites), directly from the retailer, and mobile devices such as cell phones and are a great choice for people looking  save money. 

The coupon was first introduce to the public in 1886 when Asa Candler partner of  Coca-cola give complementary coupons to it`s employees  to distribute among potential clients, these coupons were placed in magazines  as part of a marketing  strategy to make Coca-Cola a profitable business. 

by 2002 Americans had saved $3.8 billion shopping with coupons.

The coupons can be used to research the price sensitivity of different groups of buyers. It is a general thought that buyers  take the time  to cut  and use coupons are more price sensitive than those who do not.

Customers can  get these coupons from various sources, these include:  newspapers, magazines . mobile app coupons and the Internet, with web sites offering free printable grocery coupons can be printed at home and use them at retail store.

2017 has been a good year economically speaking. Economic growth hit 3% in the first quarter of the year  Although it was not the 4% promised by president Trump , it`s  a very good number. The inflation this year as 1.7 , lower than the 2.1 rate of 2016, and with the promise the 2018 will be an even better for the economy .but experts still recommend  to stay focused your financial well being and build up your savings.
